This is the contact sheets from are most recent shoot for are Digipak. When doing this shoot we tried to consider different aspect such as costume and type of shot, we tried to keep the digipak conventional to the style we are doing with are social media page, which is very simple, but authentic. This representation of are star creates a relatable vibe that allows are audience to connect with him, and considering are audiences demographic which would be mostly teens to adults, this representation is more relatable and desirable for their consumption compared to if we made him a super star that is un relatable to a normal person. Below we have pick 2 images which we believe would be most effective for are approach.
We pick this image as one of are favourites because we feel his emotion is very sombre and emotionless, which suites are vibe. His pose is very simplistic but expresses his loneliness through his being around different pictures that show people having fun in the pictures. This image would be very effective for what we are trying to convey which are audience would be able to decode as it is conventional within are genre.
We believed that this image would also be considered for are front cover because it has the same effect that the previous image had. His emotion is very reserved and restricted giving the same effect, this stay traditional within are genre as their is Digipak covers that have similar styled imagery.
In conclusion, we have deduced which images we believe will be most effective to consider for are Digipak front cover. Us researching within the indie rock genre allowed us to keep are ideas typical towards the genre but given us the creativity to understand how we can differentiate are product compared to the rest. Moving forward, we need to now create the rest of the Digipak in the same stylistic approach we had with this to keep a theme throughout the whole product.
