Here is my draft3 and final draft for are Digipak, which consist of all 4 panels complete in which we believe best fit what is conventional to are genre. In this draft we had did 2 shoot to get the images that we wanted for this, which we researched into are genre to find what is conventional and what would be most effective, through mise-en-scene and the types of media language conventions related to the indie rock genre.
Here we have asked other students in are class to look at are final draft and decide what genre they believes it looks like it belongs to. As we can see that majority of the students believed that are Digipak looked conventional to what it should look like so we have clearly demonstrated a accurate demonstration of are genre through components such as mise-en-scene, CLAMPS and media language.

A skill that we demonstrated in this draft was adding pages, which requires us to change the width and high of the page.

Another skill we learnt was bending the text around the stars head for the front cover. This made the front cover more dynamic and added another depth to are product, making it more interesting when the audiences sees it.

In are conventions check in, we believe that we meet the criteria for majority of these components but still fell a bit short on others. Such as key brand descriptors, that I believe could of been demonstrated more clearly. But we made lots of progress forward from are last draft as we have changes most to green as be feel that are product conveys these components well.
Overall with creating this Digipak, it required lots of preparation and research into what we should create which stays conventional to are brand and genre. This research was looking into previous albums in are genre and breaking down conventions such as typeface, colour pallet and types of imagery. This gave us the foundations to create are products in are own way but keeping it identifiable to what the audience should be expecting.
